Introducing a new Support Ticket Widget!
We're really excited to introduce a new feature that has been highly requested within the Simplero community.
It's called a Support Ticket Widget and it's going to allow you to communicate with your customers in a much easier way!
It's also going to allow your customers to find immediate answers to their questions. Immediate answer plus no support ticket is a win-win!
Here's a quick video on how it works and how to configure it on your site:
Here is the custom CSS to copy that I m…
8 hours a week
I used to hate working out.
Don't get me wrong. I'd do it. But I didn't enjoy it. It was a necessary evil.
If I could never work out and still feel okay, I'd do that.
That all changed in 2017 when Bengt Valentino Andersen challenged me to work out 8 hours a week.
At the time I was working about maybe 4-5 hours a week, and I thought I was doing pretty great.
Bengt just looked at me and said: "If you want the body you say you do, then you'll have to work out more than that."
Six hours if you…
Who are you?
How you see yourself determines everything about your life.
Are you a success or a failure?
Are you a people person or not?
Are you a good leader?
Are you a good lover?
Are you strong or weak? Healthy or unhealthy? Disciplined or sloppy?
Your identity shapes your life.
But your identity is just a habit.
Every day you wake up, you have the opportunity to be someone new.
Your identity is just a set of beliefs currently governing your life. And you can change those beliefs.
I changed my n…
Command your mind
Watch how you talk to yourself because your mind takes orders and runs with them.
Whenever it doesn't feel that way, it's because you've given it a different command so many times that it's gotten stuck. It may take a minute to get unstuck.
My experience is that you can command your mind to an extraordinary degree.
"I know exactly what to do next to build my business, and I'm excited to get going on it."
"I love working out."
"Making money is easy and fun."
"I have a phenomenal me…
When God Calls...
I’ve been doing a lot of downloading, lately. Not from the internet. From spirit.
I’ll tell my mind to give me an answer to something.
And then I trust that it’ll do what I asked of it.
(Because guess what? That’s what minds do!)
And sure enough, I’ll wake up at 5.30 am with the exact answer I was looking for.
What do I do then? Go back to sleep?
NO, of course not!!
I pick up my phone and open up a new note (thank god for the shortcut in the control center!), and start typing(thank god fo…
Introducing the simplified Simplero admin experience!
Today we're opening beta access to the new, redesigned Simplero admin experience.
After interviewing dozens of Simplero users—brand new, existing, and ex-users—we kept hearing one piece of consistent feedback: "The admin area is too confusing!"
And it rings true. Over the years we added more and more capabilities to Simplero, and the overall organization and navigation of the application never got the attention it needed to keep up.
With this redesign we're getting back to one of our core pr…
Stop trying so hard
I've been thinking a lot about what I'd say to me ten years ago.
Number one thing I'd say:
Stop trying so damn hard.
And it's not just the 35 years old me.
I meet so many people who are trying super hard.
Trying to become something.
To be someone.
Thinking that they'll "arrive" somehow.
One day they'll be successful.
They'll finally feel "good enough".
Well, I've got news for ya.
You've already arrived.
You arrived the day you came out of your mother's womb.…
If there's one lesson I've learned over this past year, it is to say yes when your intuition speaks.
So many amazing things have come to me in the past year as a result of me following my hunches. Almost always against my so-called "better judgment".
But boy, has it paid off.
Let me give you one simple example.
A week ago, Matt Newbill started as the new COO of Simplero.
Here's how it happened.
It started with Kasim using Simplero and submitting a support ticket, which I helped him with. H…
Don't waste a good crisis of meaning
I was feeling completely beat.
I was done with a day full of meetings for the day at 4 pm, and I was ready to get to do some "real" work.
Or so I thought.
But instead, I was tired.
Bored to tears.
In other words, I was in a crisis of meaning.
You know you're in a crisis of meaning when you're asking questions like "why am I doing this?" "what's the point?" "why bother?" "who cares?".
So I ended up just making dinner, walking the dog, watching some video, and …
Culture is destiny
I'm fascinated with culture these days.
If you get the culture right, everything else takes care of itself.
Culture is destiny.
Now, you may think this doesn't apply to you because you're a solo entrepreneur.
But it does.
Your culture is you. It's how you operate. It's how you make decisions. It's what you do.
Your systems. Your processes. Your discipline. Your passion. Your play. Your fun.
Most of us tend to focus on the outcome we want. The results.
