WHAT'S FRESH?
THESE ARE THE RECENT CHANGES TO SIMPLERO
We will now retry failing outgoing webhooks for a month instead of forever.
An 'exact' condition on a custom field now actually does an 'exact' check, not a 'contains' check.
Landing page conversion custom action URLs are not incorrectly prefilled with a product or list URL.
List dropdowns now show Starred items first when searching.
Fixed print layout of multiple answer questions in worksheets.
With Stripe payment methods, we now listen to updates to credit cards that Stripe receives (e.g. when the card is renewed) and update the display in Simplero accordingly.
Fixed incorrect pages & courses count on the 'Sites' table view
We'll now show delayed commission instead of delayed revenue on the table in 'Purchases' tab to your affiliate. We've also updated the header of the column to say 'Delayed commission' instead of 'Delayed' to make it clearer.
We'll now show unique clicks on the various tables for affiliate links on the affiliate summary page in admin (as well as on the table visible to your affiliate). We've also changed the header of the columns on these table to say 'Unique clicks' instead of 'Clicks' to make it clearer.
Allow closing the list signup popup in the new Subscribe form section (Course Landing Page) when clicking to it's left or right (before it only closed if you clicked on the top or the bottom of the modal which was weird).
Fixed 'Replace' asset button in the header not working on Safari/Firefox.
Made fields related to commission type & recurring charges for affiliates across admin a bit more consistent (before different places had very different UI for almost the same thing which was confusing).
We'll now also show delayed & paid commission to your affiliates on their affiliate page (we already showed total, paid & owed commission).
The whole area of search button on the new site left-side navigation should be clickable now (before you had to click on the text).
Fixed changes not being saved on page editor right after you edit an image using our image editor
Fixed a bug where a lot of videos/audios on a page could cause unexpected broken styles on some requests. And a similar bug for when the page had duplicate videos/audios
Fixed alignment of site name/logo and the rest of the links on the new site left-side navigation.
Fixed a bug where some deleted images were causing the theme customizer to crash.
We'll no longer focus the 'Generate custom affiliate link' field when viewing the affiliate summary page. It was annoying because it caused the page to scroll to the bottom anytime you visited it.
If you edit a 'waiting' automation step that has contacts in it, we'll now wait for 3 minutes before updating all the contacts in that step so you have time to revert if it was an accidental change.
Fixed country code not displaying on phone number custom fields in order forms
Fixed adding a trigger to a field option on the participant field editor in 'Product > Order form > Edit participant fields'.
Fixed participant field editor in 'Product > Order form > Edit participant fields' to be usable when there are a lot of custom fields available on the right.
Simplified the Affiliate Program configuration pages
When using a countdown timer to a time after activation, you can specify a specific time of day the countdown should end.
Improved the course editing UI a bit
Left-side navigation on membership sites
You can now choose to have your main navigation be on the left side for membership sites. This allows you to have more elements in your navigation, and makes it feel more like a membership site versus a “regular” website.
To turn this on, go to Membership sites, pick a site, then go to Theme and click to Customize theme. There under Navigation you’ll find the option for Left vs Top.
Replying to a comment will now by default @ mention the name of the person you’re replying to.
Implemented new navigation on course module and lesson pages
New design for the account settings menu on admin navigation bar.
Adjusted the reactions on content in membership sites loosely based on George Kao’s suggestions.
Improved navigation for the Tag screens
Show subscriptions & purchases for landing pages.
We’re going through and updating the design and usability, and today, a refreshed menu design dropped, with icons and descriptions. Check it out!
Cleaend up navigation for landing pages and forms
When a product is sold out, still show the buy button, but then show the options to join the waitlist, etc. when they try to buy.
Allow the header on sites to go full-width, making room for more menu options.
Implemented new navigation style on List pages.
We're still missing Products, Sites, and Affiliate Programs as some of the bigger areas. And the top menu itself is getting a touch-up as well this week. Just making it all easier to understand.
Include Contact info in notification emails from triggers and automations
Added the ability to write notes on your automations, so you and your team can remember what they're about and how they work.
Applying the new nav header style on Automations
Renaming the internal name of a course using quick edit (pencil) on table or header, will now also change the title and the label if they were the same before as well
We re-ordered some of the sections in the Account Settings to make it more logical and clear. Still got some work to do there, taking it one step at a time.
Community features: Rich reactions on Comments
We’ve had Likes on comments for a while, but now you can also Love, Laugh, express Wow, or be Sad or Angry.
And the author will get notified of the reaction, too.
Keeping engagement high 💪🏻🙌🏻
Boost your email open rates
We’ve just dropped a killer feature on our Skyrocket plan that is known to boost your email open rates by up to 40%.
You’ll find it at Settings > Marketing > Email Settings, at the bottom of the page.
Notifications of "Likes"
Now people will get an email notification when someone leaves a 'Like' in one of their comments. Thanks George Kao for the suggestion. This is sure to increase engagement on your membership sites. Who doesn’t like it when someone likes their content, right?
Added Affiliates details to the Broadcast recipients/Deliveries table
We've added an Affiliates column to the Broadcast Recipients table, with the ability to sort and filter by affiliate name.
Also added a filter for whether or not the recipient came from an affiliate or not.
And now the “# Recipients” column on Delivered Broadcasts table links directly to the Recipients screen, saving you a click.
In the process fixed a recently introduced bug where boolean filters would show the on state as blank. Always optimizing, always simplifying 💪🏻
Thanks to George for the feature request. Keep ‘em coming.
Forum posts with a scheduled publication date will now show the correct posting date, ie. the day they’re scheduled to be published, not the date they were created.
Membership sites CSS editor accepts Saas/SCSS code and now it will also validates the CSS, helping you to ensure the CSS is correct without opening the site to check.
Community features
In our ongoing quest to make Simplero the premier platform to host your community, we have now released an improved design of comments on membership sites. This covers both Forums, Blogs, Groups, and Course Lessons.
Lots more to come here (including mobile app support!)
