WHAT'S FRESH?
THESE ARE THE RECENT CHANGES TO SIMPLERO
Fixed the Starred filter behavior so it (a) does what you'd expect, and (b) shows what it's doing.
Simplified Style guide editor
We've merged the "System" and "Page builder" tabs in the Style guide editor.
We will now use the product's internal name instead of the product's name in the new purchase notification email.
You can now use Global Snippets in Builder 2.0 pages on the text elements (Preheadline, Headline, Subheadline, Paragraph and Bullet list).
Fixed a bug where changing product email opt-in type from 'Custom' (with a specified list) to 'Default' failed to reset the list to the account's main list.
Fixing autoplay and auto-scroll when clicking on videos in broadcasts
Facebook Conversion API
Meta API’s recent instability and unexpected errors resulted in some attempts to register conversions to fail.
Some accounts have received emails as if their configurations were incorrect.
We now handle those scenarios and retry those conversions at a later point.
Let you create a new landing page without having to enter a name right then.
Promote the 'Access' tab on the Courses page to a tab so it's easier to find. We're going to make that page a lot more useful shortly, so it's easier to control who has access to your Course.
Fixed a sneaky bug with editing pipelines.
You can now edit the note on why a Points change (either granting Points or consuming Points) was done.
We are changing the way the average customer lifetime value is calculated for Financial scoreboard displayed on the dashboard. It will now be based on the total revenue which includes the revenue from deleted customers too. Previously, it was based on the revenue of the customers that are active. The change might not reflect immediately for your account, it will be calculated and updated in the background.
We'll now take members to the page they wanted to visit originally if your site allows members to join through the 'Join' page and the member wasn't logged in or just joined your site through the join page.
A member pointed out that the login menu on the new experience was confusing when not logged in.
We're now using a more standard icon, and placing the log in option at the top instead of at the bottom
You can now use the global snippets in email preheader, subject and footer.
Fixed a bug where when you navigate to a page nested under another page in your main navigation, you would not be able to navigate back to the parent page from the main navigation header.
When adding link to things like courses, groups, etc to your navigation, we'll now prefill the 'Label in main navigation' field with the name of the selected product/group/etc.
You can now quickly toggle whether 'Playlists' should be shown on your site's navigation header/sidebar (similar to how you can control 'Favorites', 'History', etc.) on the new site experience using the Layout editor.
Improved responsiveness of the history & favorites page on the new site experience.
Updated Settings => Style guides page
We've overhauled the page and it's now much easier to manage you Style guides.
Fixed issue where buttons on invoice sent via email were no longer showing.
Fixed semicolon separator handling on CSV importers.
Fixed issue where if a scheduling link was set to use user's default calendar, it wasn't.
We now have a setting on the Product to let your contacts choose their username and password after their first purchase instead of auto-generating credentials.
We now use emoji for reactions on the new site experience
Meta no longer supports our Instagram Feed section on the page builder. We have hidden that section as well as the integration in the settings while we build a new version of the Instagram integration, which only supports Creator and Business accounts.
When hovering over any element in Page Builder 2.0, it will be highlighted in the node tree automatically for easier access to its options.
Fixing issue where formatting on scheduling link additional info setting would revert to plain text on calendar event and emails.
Fixed a bug where the blog category pill on the new site experience would use incorrecct background/text colors causing them to be illegible.
We've fixed the issue with not being able to pick a forum category when adding a A member creates forum post trigger on a site.
Fixed a bug where the warning message for missing body was not displayed when creating a blog post in the admin dashboard.
Fixing issue with events showing 'Registrations are closed' when time limit for registrations are still in the future.
Fixing placeholder of GDPR custom message field on lists advanced settings.
When selecting a product's 'Start date', you can now be more specific and select the hour and the minute too.
Added new actions to Stop and Pause all Automations for a Contact
Fixing issue where people would get temporarily blocked because of a countdown timer added to broadcasts. The timer is refreshed on every keystroke due to being dynamic and un-cacheable, which caused the issue.
Show Join page when visiting site with join page when not logged in.
We've improved the icons we use for attachments on your course lessons.
Dropdowns in your site navigation top header on the new experience will be aligned according to the link alignment setting.
E.g if you have your top navigation links on the left on the header & there was a dropdown link, the dropdown will be aligned to the left as well relative to the dropdown toggle.
Fixing tag background color when no color is chosen while creating new tags.
🎉 Introducing AI-enhanced search
- If you're on the Skyrocket plan, you can now enable AI-enhanced search on your site.
- When searching on your site, members will now see a section called 'AI Chat Bot' that will answer member's queries. And they can converse/follow up on their queries with the chat bot.
- To turn it on, Navigate to your site's 'Configure' tab and turn on the 'Enable AI-enhanced search' switch at the bottom under 'Advanced settings'.
- It may take a few minutes for your site to be completely indexed after you enable the switch depending on how much content you have.
Color coded tags? Yep, you've got them now!
Much like labels can be colored in a way that makes sense for you, now you can do the same with tags.
Fixed duplication of themes - the duplicate will now corretly show up in the list of all themes.
Selecting a category is now required when creating a forum post and there are multiple categories available. This will ensure that the category selection process is conscious and new posts aren't just defaulted to the first category.
Add link to the Simplero Community to the login menu in admin. Also clean up a few things.
Use a megaphone icon for the 'Latest updates & simplifications' button on the admin navbar, to distinguish it from the Notifications button in the community/site navigation.
Link direct to delivered Broadcasts from the table on the Dashboard. Order columns a bit smarter. And remove unpaid Charges and recent Broadcasts from the 'What do you want to do today?' block now that we have separate tables for them again.
Link to Contact page in Admin from the Chat Info sidebar, making it simpler to get context for the current conversation.
Make it more obvious to find your personal scheduling link preferences by adding a link to the nav bar in the Scheduling Links section in admin - hat tip George kao.
Instead of 'Courses' call it 'Course directory'. Clearer what it means.
