WHAT'S FRESH?
THESE ARE THE RECENT CHANGES TO SIMPLERO
Show transcription status in the table for course lessons so you can quickly see which lessons are transcribed and which aren't ... and start transcription of the ones that are missing. And yes, we'll make it so all media files are automatically transcribed on eligible plans.
We reverted the recent update to the order form, which previously displayed prices with a minimum quantity set only after that quantity (or higher) was selected. As before, prices that could become available by increasing the quantity will be visible. We also fixed some bugs related to this feature.
Added weekday to the date format when showing upcoming events in sites. Also lowercased the am/pm for easier readability.
In Page Builder 2.0, you can now align buttons and images left, right, center, or full width.
If a blog post has audio or video as featured media, clicking the media in the blog homepage will now play the media, not go to the blog post.
Fixed Yes/No fields when used as participant fields on an order form.
We'll now show the number of changes you've made since last publish on Page Builder 2.0 (on the publish button). Makes it much simpler to determine if someone else has made a lot of changes before you hit that 'Publish' button.
You can now create new automation & products from our object picker dropdown when you go to pick them in various places.
You can now reorder conditional splits inside funnels to control the order in which they will be checked.
Multi-line text fields on embedded landing pages will now respect the 'required' setting.
We'll now automatically show the settings pane right after you've added a section/row on Page Builder 2.0.
We fixed a bug that caused some prices with many installments to display incorrectly on the order form when there were multiple participants.
You can now add a new column after another column on Page Builder 2.0, by simply clicking on the '+' button that appears when hovering over the column (next to the 'Duplicate' button).
You can now cancel adding a node (section/row/element) on Page Builder 2.0 by pressing Esc.
Now you can format the text of quiz questions, answers, and explanations with full WYSIWYG editor capabilities, which means you can add images, videos, and other elements to your quizzes.
The 'Order value' column in the purchases table now shows a total at the bottom.
Stopping modals that contain videos from closing when the video is clicked
Fixed that numbered lists in a worksheet question body would have an extra 10px margin added to the bottom.
Fixed a bug where links in Headline/Subheadline/Preheadline elements on Page Builder 2.0 were not using the proper color from the style guide
We've fixed a bug, where while adding rows on Page Builder 2.0, the page would scroll to a totally different element in some cases.
When adding a section/row/element node using Page Builder 2.0, we'll now highlight and scroll to the newly added node.
Date comparisons in filters and conditions will now read the date as being in the account's time zone.
We fixed a bug causing the word 'renews' not being translated correctly in some order forms.
If an email bounces and the bounce message contains the word 'spam', we'll treat that as a spam report instead of a bounce.
You can now customize the 'accept marketing' message/checkbox in the order form. This can be done in the Product > Order Form settings.
The data we send to Zapier for purchases now includes the field salesamountcurrency, which defines the currency the sales_amount is in, which may be a different currency than the rest of the data.
We've improved the speed of editing a section/row/element in Page Builder 2.0. It should feel much faster now. And we're not done yet!
We've fixed an issue where the save indicator on Page Builder 2.0 sometimes got stuck on 'Saving'.
We'll now auto-focus the first input field on the popups on your landing pages built with Page Builder 2.0.
Fixed a bug that caused the page to render incorrectly when canceling while editing a quiz question.
Added committed until date to the Purchases table
Fix that you couldn't set a purchase with commitment back to no commitment
If purchase paid by a PayPal subscription fails, but we later receive a payment, it will now be reactivated.
Tables in the admin interface will include more custom field columns in their display configuration.
Events can now be filtered by organizer
If a lesson can be completed multiple times, we will now show the user how many times they've completed it and when.
Fixed a bug that caused the order form to show no prices available when visiting a price URL after visiting a secret price URL.
We fixed a bug that caused the order form to not load if you had previosly visited a secret price for the same product that is now disabled.
Now, you can configure your scheduling links to automatically generate Google Meet events and links upon creating new bookings.
Cleaned up the tags in the sidebar of a Contact
Sorting a table by a custom field that can have multiple values will on longer make the record show once for each value.
Time is money
You can now charge for scheduling link events. Just create a product (or use an existing one) and link it to the scheduling link.
Chat & DMs (beta)
Chat with other admins, customers, affiliates, site members, and even create group chats from any page in the admin panel. Look for a speech bubble icon on the navbar. Coming soon on membership sites.
Fixed custom fields sometimes being missing from CSV and Excel exports.
You can now archive unengaged contacts by going to the Contacts page in your admin dashboard and clicking the '...' menu on the top right. Archiving contacts can help reduce your bill.
🎉 Introducing Page Builder 2.0 (BETA)
One of the top wishes from our Simplero members for a long time has been an upgrade to the page builder.
We heard you! So, naturally, we set out to build the simplest, most powerful page builder on the market.
We interviewed a bunch of current members, we looked at all of the page builders we could put our hands on, we analyzed, designed, played around with ideas … and eventually landed on something we think you'll love!
Today we're proud to share with you Page Builder 2.0 as BETA.
At this moment, it does stand-alone Landing Pages and Funnel Pages.
Eventually it will create site pages, course lessons, blog posts, embedded opt-in forms, order forms, emails, and more.
The old Page Builder Classic is going to be around for a while while we finish out all the details of the new one. Templates, reusable components, multiplayer mode, animations, cool highlights, and much more to come.
Keep in mind it's BETA! That means bugs, rough edges, and things still missing.
We'll keep making improvements every day until it's all the way there.
But do go play with it right now. It's fully functional. Calvin just built this page in only 15 minutes. We'll build many more templates like those in the days and weeks to come.
Check out the Help Guide for the details.
Build something, and share it with us!
We can't wait to see what you build!
PS. Mad props to Owais, Georgi, Omar, Deepesh, Lis, Josh, and Angel for doing this in record time!
Admins can now visit the order form for a sold-out or closed product, instead of being redirected to the screen a customer would see.
We will now ask for extra confirmation when performing an action to all the rows of table, and we'll show the number of objects affected to make sure we’re doing what you intended.
We fixed a bug that was showing a 'product x does not have any public prices' error message in the order form of some products with prices replacing other prices.
We will now ask for extra confirmation when doing dangerous actions like deleting all contacts.
