WHAT'S FRESH?
THESE ARE THE RECENT CHANGES TO SIMPLERO
Improved Filters on Table Views
Improved design and functionality of the filters on all table views.
This change not only is much nicer to look at and work with, but it also lays a foundation that allows us to do more powerful things more simply in the future.
Stay tuned, and we appreciate all your support.
Fixing reordering of records, specially when moving them down. This applies to almost anything that can be reordered, for example, Worksheet Sections, Payment Processors and Attachments.
We've added anti-bot protection to survey submissions and now it will be much harder for bots to spam them excessively
We improved the survey editor and now sections will always be expanded when editing. This will make it easier to move fields from one section to another and will fix some visual issues with the sections.
We've fixed an issue with Global Blocks in Page Builder 2.0 where the node tree could not be expanded
You can now align the links in your header to the left/center/right using the new site layout editor (new site experience only).
Fixed a bug where Typography setting on the WYSIWYG editor on the legacy site builder didn't use the correct font size in the new site experience.
Fixed style on order bump buttons of order forms embedded in other pages. Previously, the button was following the default style guide of the account and not the page-specific style.
We've fixed a bug that caused an error to show when trying to choose categories for a new/existing blog post.
We've fixed a regression where the language settings on a site were toggled using the wrong button.
Fixed a bug that caused custom copy for an order form not to be displayed when the order had a pre-selected order bump.
We improved the bookmarks generated when using the action 'Recreate bookmarks from transcript' or similar, specially for transcripts generated 3 months ago or more.
Fixing automations for Opt-ins coming from Builder 2.0 pages.
We've fixed the Subscription: Asked to be subscribed trigger event that was not being triggered when an user was subscribed to a list via an automation.
Now when 2 or more purchases are made from the same customer in the same funnel, we link them together so in the admin side they are shown as related purchases, similar to Order bumps and Upseells/Downsells.
We added a translation string so the word 'Community' is correctly translated to other languages in the order form.
Improved mobile/browser responsiveness of the header element in the layout editor when the navigation style is set to 'Top'.
Fixed issue preventing admins of parent accounts from being able to access child accounts' pages
We now honor the position of the account payment processors when listing them for limiting products to specific payment processors, both on the product settings page and on the order form.
Fixed the unseen notifications indicator, so you don't miss all the amazing updates we have for you. 😉
We've removed the separate show engagement badges setting for Blog Posts, Courses and Forum Posts. Instead, we've added a new Site setting called 'Display badges' which will show badges everywhere applicable.
Using Builder 2.0 pages on your site that still uses the legaccy site experience is now even better - we've reduced the conflicts between colors & fonts. So what you see on the new builder is what you should see when you visit your main site
Expired PayPal subscriptions
Fixed issue where PayPal subscriptions would not become expired once the last price period is reached. This should also expire any purchases retroactively.
New actions to recreate bookmarks from the transcript. We came up with a better way to generate bookmarks that are way more concise than what we originally did. Now you can easily recreate for multiple media files or course lessons in one go.
Faster payment processors page
Instead of counting the purchases and gross revenue from each on the spot, we will now recalculate them every 24 hours. Accounts with many purchases will now experience faster load times on that page.
Improved the design of the leaderboards page. They look so damn nice now!
Fixed a bug where pages built using Builder 2.0 would be squished (on the editor) if there was no content yet.
Make the funnel overlay that shows when you're making changes look better and more clear.
Optimized the performance of the funnel page in your browser. Turned out that we were constantly redrawing the lines between steps and all the other bits and pieces in a funnel practically every time you moved your mouse, which was making things feel more sluggish than necessary.
Hope you notice.
Fixed that duplicating a funnel step to a new funnel wasn’t enabled for pages using the new page builder.
We disabled that way back when the new page builder didn’t yet have the ability to duplicate pages, and just forgot to turn it back on. Oops!
While working on that, I also fixed a lot about how the hover effect on a funnel step works, and keeping the step active while the dropdown or the object picker to choose which funnel to duplicate it to is open.
Nerdy stuff, but hopefully you’ll notice that it’s now more smooth.
Funnel Step Live Switch
Added the ability to turn on/off a page in a funnel with just a switch.
When the page is turned off, we’ll just move on to the next step.
If someone uses the link directly to the switched off step, they’ll still be able to see it. We may change that behavior in the future.
The idea is, say an upsell page isn’t working, and it’s an offer thing, not just a page/copy thing, you can now take it out of the flow of the funnel while you figure out what to do, without having to completely delete it or move it to some other place in the funnel where it won’t be reached (which would just be silly and sad 😔).
Copy link to funnel from hovering over the funnel start node.
Add a bit of formatting help to the forum post & comment forms.
Don't perform a search when just visiting the /search page with no query. Makes the page significantly faster.
Redirect to new product catalog when visiting the old product category URL.
In the toolbar on an element in the Builder, say the type of element (Section, Row, Button, etc.) rather than the name of the section or global block.
Fixed an issue with Survey editor where sections could not be expanded or collapsed.
You can now sort comments by 'Top' on the new site experience - it will show comments with the most replies first!
Changed the 'Color & Opacity' setting in Page Builder 2.0 to immediately open the color picker with opacity controls.
Fixed issue that was not showing validation errors on event recurrence fields when creating or editing recurring events.
Fixed that the Meta App ID from your Account Integrations wouldn't make it onto your landing pages.
Improved the site creation experience by letting you choose the type of site (Community vs Course vs Website) up front. This would set some presets based on your choice (you can still change everything after the site is created).
We've fixed an issue with duplicated Page Builder 2.0 pages where some input fields in the duplicated page could not be edited.
Clicking on links in the 'Broadcasts' column in the Lists table will now properly filter the broadcasts by the selected list.
Fixed a bug where tables on pages using the legacy builder on the new site experience would not show borders.
Improvements to the split test editing page.
Product Catalog
The product catalog has now been updated to the new experience.
Yet another reason to switch your site to using the new experience. We're on a roll here. 😄
Allow split tests for pages using the new page builder.
Fixed that subscribing to the calendar feed for a site in Google Calendar wasn't working.
Optimized performance on rendering the transcript.
