WHAT'S FRESH?
THESE ARE THE RECENT CHANGES TO SIMPLERO
Fixed a bug where join link on the event page was wrong & redirected back to the same page.
New page section: Upcoming events calendar
All you have to do is select the number of weeks the calendar should show. We'll automatically list all your upcoming events with the proper date & time on the calendar & clicking on an event will open up the event page!
You can now link to sections inside your pages on your site's menu. When clicked, it will take your users to the page the section is on, and scroll to it (just like anchor links).
To check it out, goto your site's admin page, click on 'Edit menu & pages' near the top-right. Then click on the 'Add' button on the sidebar -> click on 'Anchor' and then select your page and section. Simple as that :)
Added a new section for listing upcoming events that you can use on your websites and landing pages.
You'll be able to specify how many events you want to list, whether to include Zoom events that don't have a fixed time, and a bunch of other style settings. Each event will link to our event page where your user's will be able to view details like the description, join link, etc.
You can now easily link to groups on your site's menu.
If you don't know how, goto your site's admin page, click on 'Edit menu & pages' near the top-right. Then click on the 'Add' button on the sidebar. You should see an option to add a link to a group on your site.
You can now move/copy your course modules to other courses
Check it out by going to your course's admin page, then click on the module you want to move/copy. You'll see a 'Move/Copy' button on the top-right.
Opening new color pickers closes already open ones
Added a setting to disable the behavior that hides old comments behind a 'Show more comment link'.
You can find the setting by going to your site's admin page, click on the 'Configure' tab. It'll be under 'Community features'. It's on by default which means that if your blog post or lesson has a lot of comments, it'll only show the most recent ones (your users can always access the hidden comments by clicking 'Show more comments'). But if you want to always show all the comments, you can turn the setting off.
Fixes colorpicker panel's position in certain sections where they had become unusable
You can now search solved tickets and the site you've selected as your knowledgebase on the admin ticket page. Also added an ability to mark a ticket as canonical (using the pin icon next to the title) - which will boost its ranking when searching on that page.
You'll now be able to show/hide any section on your page according to your user's device (i.e only show the section on mobile, or only show it on tablet and desktop).
To check it out, go to the page editor, click on any section you want, and then click on 'Only show on some devices' - near the bottom of the left sidebar.
Fixed a bug where comments on course lesson (that allowed access when previewing a course) also sent notifications to site members who did not have access to the course.
We have added Activate button for purchases in new state so they can be easily changed to paid.
Admins can now configure the page URL which users would see when they logout from Membership Sites.
We have changed the look and feel of Membership Sites Admin View. Now you can reorder the available tabs, and switch easily from card to table view and vice versa!
Added more default views on the broadcast's recipient table (Delivered/Opened/Clicked/Marked spam/Unsubscribed).
We now collapse older comments in forums, blogs and courses on desktop/laptop devices too (just like we do on mobile) if the page has more than 15 comments. It should help your customers get straight to the most recent discussion and avoid having to scroll a huge distance to post a reply.
You can now add an image to your zoom event on Simplero so that they are visible on the add to calendar event page (just like basic Simplero events), as well as edit their title & description!
You'll now be able to add videos as well on the features section on your web pages.
You can now sort broadcasts and emails for automations by delivery stats.
On the course listing UI, added the site the course is on and some stats on the course.
Fixed a bug where urgent ticket text notifications were not sent when there were multiple urgent ticket phone numbers configured.
Fixed pinning forums posts to the front page of the forum.
We will now only ask for a customer's region on your product's order form if you've configured your product to ask for billing address or if we need the region due to your tax settings.
We've added a Danish phone number for text messaging, so recipients in Denmark should see a nicer-looking number.
Nerdy improvement: List-Unsubscribe headers on emails sent to list subscribers will now also include an email unsubscribe option (in addition to the HTTP unsubcribe option that we already had) which should be supported on a greater number of e-mail clients.
Fixed a rare issue which prevented editing & saving an embedded landing page with a required field that's empty.
Fixed some views in the Affiliates table to make it easier to find affiliates that don't have their PayPal email on file or are missing documentation.
Fixed some text that wasn't being translated on some list subscription screens.
You can now easily create a blog category when creating or editing a blog post.
You can now create badges that are awarded for completing worksheets.
Manually-created credit purchases can now specify the quantity of credits.
When a purchase allows donation, the donation amount entered is now added to the price rather than replacing it. This does not affect purchases made before this change.
You can now customize the URL for your blog posts.
You can now create badges that are awarded for completing courses. Badges are available on the Engagement tab of your site configuration for those on the Rule the World plan.
You can now have your affiliate program automatically paid on a certain day of the month.
We have added a preview of the engagement badge visible when you create or edit it. Badges are available on the Rule the World plan only.
You can now drag and drop courses to change the order they appear in your public courses catalog.
You can now see the Badges on the member profile too. Badges are available on the Rule the World plan only.
You can now add labels to help organize your courses.
You can now customise when badges should be awarded, for example choosing how many comments earns a badge. Badges are available on the Engagement tab of your site configuration for those on the Rule the World plan.
Fixed an issue where if a subregion of a country had a tax to be added to its country's tax, saving the tax configuration for that subregion would duplicate the country's tax name.
We've made adjustments to when tracking code is included after a purchase is completed. This will make missing tracking data less likely.
Background image is now set correctly on the 2-step-list signup form's popup instead of the button that toggles the popup.
New animated frames can now be used as the default frame for a video.
We've backed out a recent change regarding how lessons appear when the user doesn't have access to courses. It ended causing unexpected results in some setups. We'll review and try to reapply it in a way that doesn't cause issues.
You can now enable Badges on blog and course comments. Badges are available on the Rule the World plan only.
When a user has access to a course but not to all lessons, your course and lesson settings for preview will now be respected. Previously they only took effect when the user did not have access to the course itself.
After making a purchase, users are now redirected to the confirmation page on the same domain as they started on. Previously it would always use (youraccount).simplero.com. This didn't affect the purchase but could affect tracking with Google Analytics or other services.
You can now choose custom colors for labels
