WHAT'S FRESH?
THESE ARE THE RECENT CHANGES TO SIMPLERO
Flip the order of bookmarks and lesson content, so the bookmarks are closer to the video.
We fixed an issue with list subscriptions where users who wouldn't grant GDPR consent couldn't access membership sites that are part of the list subscription.
We added a lot of improvements to the version history in Page Builder 2.0, including a button to reset all unpublished changes and a better visual representation of the currently published version.
The link in the header on an Event page will now always be a link to the next event in the series, in case of recurring events. If you want a link to a specific event, then use the link in the table of 'Upcoming events'.
When there's a value for 'track' on a subscription, we'll link it to the list of subscriptions with the same track value in the List Subscriptions table.
You can now choose which payment processors you want to offer in the order form on a product-by-product basis. Payment processors can be enabled here even if they're disabled under Settings > Payment processors. You can find this new setting on Product > Order Form configuration page.
Cleaned up the table views for Events on admin
Truncate event description on the new Events page in Communities, and clean up event display.
Video Loudness Filter
You can now apply loudness filter to the audio/video directly on the Lesson instead of having to find the Media file manually.
Calendar inside the Community
There's now a page where members of a community can view events
We've fixed an issue where engagement badges wouldn't show the awarding and revoking options when creating the badge.
Opt-in forms in Page Builder 2.0 pages will now track device type, screen size and user agent, so you know what devices people are opting in from.
Fixed a bug in the order form that caused submission issues when using the Facebook browser's auto-fill function. Users saw no action or progress upon clicking the submit button.
We now send an SMS notification to affiliates for new purchases made using their links. This setting, which is enabled by default, can be found in the affiliate settings.
The download icon on resources widget in the new community experience is now always shown on touch devices.
We’ve made some behind-the-scenes changes to the broadcast recipients selection screen to make choosing recipients faster.
We've made it possible to convert Headline elements from one type to another in Page Builder 2.0
Show when this Contact was first seen in the email notification for new List Subscribers.
We now prevent automatic scrolling to the order form's first field, which was causing disorientation for users when an order form has a large amount of text before the fields.
Add QR Codes for Short Links and Site Redirects.
We've improved how we track referers in funnels.
When you get an opt-in from within a funnel, we'll remember the original referer (if any) and store that, instead of storing the URL of the funnel step that the opt-in was on.
Much more useful that way.
We've fixed an issue with Page Builder 2.0 opt-in forms where phone number country codes would not be saved.
We've added neutral colors (a palette from white to black) to all color pickers.
Fixed that we didn't copy all the settings of an Automation when duplicating it.
You can now just enter your YouTube @username as your YouTube URL. It will be converted to the proper URL.
Show simpler and better info in the sidebar on Opt-Ins and Survey Responses. Added IP address, Geographic location from IP Address, Contact since.
Fixed a bug where the sidebar on Builder 2.0 would not resize properly after you add an element and things like the link picker would be clipped.
Fxed that search scoped to a course on a public site would throw a server error.
Some of the info fields in the sidebar, eg. the Contact card for a Survey Response, had labels that were too big and too bold, so they'd look out of place, get truncated, and you couldn't read them.
Fixed a bug with our Media file picker where it wouldn’t save the media file after selecting it.
Scope site search to your watch history
When searching from the new History page, by default the full text search will be scoped to the video lessons in your watch history. This makes it so much easier to find something again later that you know you watched.
Fixing an incorrect link inside chat message notifications for survey responses when the admin is the receiver.
Sometimes the dialog to jump to the next available date on a scheduling link would not work when user isn't logged in (which is the norm for someone scheduling with you)
Fixed an issue with mandatory dropdowns in Surveys where choosing the 'Other' option would not allow the survey to be submitted.
We have fixed a bug that caused the message 'Please enter your payment information' to appear when QuickPay was selected as the payment processor on order forms where both Stripe and QuickPay options were available. This error pertains only to the Stripe payment processor.
Search in the transcript for a Course Lesson video or audio
Fixed a bug with Page Builder 2.0 pages where they couldn't be duplicated if they contained a button or an image with the 'Download file' action
Much simpler and cleaner video analytics
Show more recently watched video lessons on the new History page, and allow people to page through them.
When searching inside a course in the new community experience, if you updated your search query, the course scoping would be lost.
Reordering Round-Robin Scheduling Links
You can now reorder the links in a Round-Robin type Scheduling Link.
This means that you can now control the priority (order) of the child links' availabilities.
Optimized some random slow-loading pages due to caches getting maxed out, plus improvements on site members admin page, and purchases page.
We'll now default to searching just within the current course when you use the search field in the new Community experience while you're viewing a Course or Lesson.
Cancel the cancel button ... don't have a button to cancel posting a comment, or a new post. Too easy to hit it and risk loosing everything you just wrote. If you want to back out, there are other ways. Thanks for the tip. George!
We've added a new privacy option
You can now hide your profile across all sites, preventing anyone from visiting your profile or mentioning you. To enable this feature, simply edit your profile and find the new 'Hide profile' option under the privacy section. We are also working on adding more granular settings to allow customization of visibility for each site or group. Stay tuned!
Improvements to Scheduling Links
- Avoid showing the notice that we're jumping to the next available date on a scheduling link if it's the same month, and we're on mobile, since the week view isn't shown on mobile anyway.
- Also avoid it showing up twice when we redirect to log you in, because you're already logged in on the main domain.
- Fixed that you couldn't pick the same date twice on mobile booking flow with a Scheduling link.
- Make mobile Scheduling link booking flow step two full height and have no border. Cleaner. Simpler.
- Make the right side of scheduling link have a minimum height on desktop, so even if you're on a small screen it's still usable. Plus a bunch of other small improvements to the white-space and layout of Scheduling links.
- Made the Scheduling link week view heade more compact and less cluttered when scheduling.
When @everyone is mentioned in a site's post or comment, the notification will indicate that everyone was mentioned, rather than stating that you were mentioned in a comment.
Subscription prices with more than one period will now also show in the volume discount info box in the order form, when they have volume discounts (ie. there’s another price, with minimum quantity, that replaces another price).
Buttons in Page Builder 2.0 will now indicate if they are invalid, depending on the button action. For example, if you configure a button to open a popup but the popup is blank.
We fixed a misleading 'failure notification' that was being shown when paying for an upsell using Quickpay payment processor. Now we send the user to a screen informing the payment is in process.
