One of my favorite questions when I'm coaching customers or community members or team members is
What does success look like?
What are we really trying to achieve here?
What's the outcome we want?
What's the goal?
A lot of people skip this step.
What's the real goal here?
I spoke with someone on an AMA the other day who was worried about a book launch. Webinars and book tours and COVID and the whole thing just seemed so overwhelming.
I asked her, what did she want to accomplish by doing the book launch.
She wanted to land ten consulting clients.
Great. We can come up with a strategy to make that happen.
See how much clearer it gets, how much easier it gets, when you have such a clearly defined success outcome?
Start with the end in mind, and work backwards from that.
It's the best way to make sure you're successful.
