We need you to lead us.
If you ever felt that pang of, "Boy, I wish somebody would do something about this" ... well, guess what? That somebody's probably you.
Abigail Adams wrote to her son John Quincy Adams: "These are hard times in which a genius would wish to live. Great necessities call out great virtues."
That's exactly how I feel about the times today. It's the perfect time for a genius. The perfect time for you.
Traditional, routine jobs have gone away. They've either been automated away or moved to China, with low salaries and miserable working conditions. They're not coming back.
To thrive in this age, we need to dig deep within ourselves. We need to call forth our inner genius. Anything less isn't going to cut it.
The power law says that all the benefits go to the people at the top. As the world gets more transparent and comparable widgets are super easy to find on Amazon, the only way to stand out is to be uniquely you, to bring more of yourself into everything you do.
That means you need to know who you are and bring it.
