Users can now view Text view of the PDF on course lessons (in addition to the PDF embedded viewer).

We’ll extract the text content of PDF files as they’re uploaded from now on.

We’ll soon add an ability to extract text from existing PDFs. Or maybe we’ll do it automatically for all PDFs if it’s not too costly. We’ll see.

The plan is to let your customers add highlights and bookmarks in the PDF also, like they can in the transcript, but it requires a very different mechanism than we do for transcripts, so may be a while till we tackle this.
