Connection, cont'd

I wrote last week about community and connection.

I’ve been thinking about an idea that I wanted to run by you.

I want to create an office here in New York, and later on another one in Austin.

It would be a place where I and other New York/Austin-based team members would work out of at least 2-3 days a week.

But it would be more than that.

It would be a gathering place for the tribe, the community.

A place where you, as the proud owner of information business, could come and record your course content, or your podcast, and get help with the technical stuff, whether recording or editing or curriculum design or uploading it to the internets and getting your course and membership site set up in Simplero or whatever you need.

There’d be people on hand to help, to support, and educate.

Maybe a small theater or space where you can run a live event or training or just a happy hour, dinner, or other gatherings.

In short, a place to meet like-minded souls.

Because I know all too well the path of the entrepreneur is often far too lonely.

I know you may not happen to live in or near NY or Austin, but it would still be a resource for whenever you’re in town.

It could be an excuse to fly in and get that course done you’ve always wanted to get done or get that podcast started that you’ve been dreaming of for a while.

What do you think?

What would having a place like that mean to you?
